Driver Qualifications & Training

KMC is committed to hiring qualified, professional, and compassionate drivers who adhere to all necessary medical transportation licensing requirements. Each driver must meet the following criteria:

- Possess a valid Virginia driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

- Successfully complete background checks and screening

- Receive training in first-aid, CPR, AED, passenger assistance, sensitivity, and safety procedures

- Follow all Virginia NEMT regulations and transportation service compliance standards

- Maintain ongoing training as mandated by state regulations and company policy
